Now that the 2020 Democratic presidential race is taking shape, Democrat Joe Biden is reportedly seeking to unify his party and temper a firestorm of speculation and hubbub over whether he will run.

Fox News contributor Tony Posnanski tweeted Wednesday that Biden is “hatching a plan” and is also “watching old clips” from his 1992 campaign. Posnanski’s assessment is that Biden’s book, “Promise Me, Dad: A Year of Hope, Hardship, and Purpose,” offers a book proposal.

Posnanski tweeted that he will be asking Biden to give “a big, game-changing” speech to unify the Democratic Party. Posnanski said on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Tuesday that Democrats are divided over Biden’s and Bernie Sanders’ identity on economic issues, and the 2020 race may be defined by who the party chooses to run on these issues.

Last Thursday, Biden was asked on “CBS This Morning” what his book means to him, and he said, “It’s the memoir I never had to write.”
